Small UI feedback: the WORD LOOKUP sheet has UI design disease, i.e. imo too much text. I'd drop "WORD LOOKUP" and "CURRENTLY SAVING". Also behind the latter the current word is repeated (it's already the title of the sheet), so I'd drop that too.
Power on pluggable bundles. So you can change the business logic, but if you want to change any native dependency then you do need a new app binary which needs the same app store review process.

I tried Language Reactor a couple of years ago and bounced off of it because of its absolutely atrocious support for traditional character Chinese. Its page literally says there is none on Netflix despite most their Chinese content being from Taiwan.
Migaku is flawed, but better. This tool seems like a much less polished version of Migaku or Lexirise with just a local media player and no ability to use it on YouTube, Netflix, Bilibili, etc.
DMA seems explicitly written to only target monopolies, though (and seems like a surrender from the EU, since monopolies should be broken up and not get laws codifying their business models IMHO).
Can you imagine the collective screeching, across the White house, HN and Apple reality distortion field, that'd happen if EU attempted to breakup the American monopolies?

So a bunch of leftists say things like "knowledges" are just things that people in power use to keep themselves in power. They make everything about power. And then they are surprised when the right decides it's about power and enables a Trump.
Both sides are appalling. But I have no sympathy for the people wringing their hands over Trump. They asked for it. Unfortunately, those of us who didn't ask for it have to deal with it.

I do agree that its wrong to say that Habermas would be responsible(!) for any of that though. As if thinking up stuff would make you responsible for the misuse of those ideas down the road.

He signed that “never again” letter, completely buying into the exceptionalism of one group over all others… They kind of threw the baby out of the water and moved into Heidegger territory quickly. They seemed to put “who” over “what” very, very hastily. One would expect an enlightened mind to understand the difference and maybe phrase his concerns a bit more “inclusively”. But let’s be honest, it wasn’t a mistake.

This already exists in a limited form as Signed HTTP Exchanges. It's intended primarily for caching and serving content from CDNs, but associating with the origin host.
